On Thursday, May 18, 2023, our very own Claudia Golden had the incredible honor of attending the Vanderpump Dog Foundation's 5th Annual Gala at the iconic Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills — one of the most spectacular charity events of the year.
The sold-out evening was a true celebration of glamour, compassion, and community, hosted by the incomparable Lisa Vanderpump — founder of the Vanderpump Dog Foundation and star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The night kicked off with a glittering red carpet, a beautiful candlelit cocktail hour, and a Silent Auction featuring donated luxury items from some of the world's most prestigious brands.

A Night for an Incredible Cause 🐾
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs both domestically and internationally — including their groundbreaking work saving dogs from the dog meat trade in China. With over 2,500 dogs adopted to forever homes since opening their rescue center on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles, the Foundation's impact is nothing short of extraordinary.
The gala raised critical funds to support their Emergency Medical Fund, the Vanderpump Nursery, and international rescue initiatives. Claudia was deeply moved by the stories shared throughout the evening — stories of resilience, love, and the incredible bond between humans and animals. Being part of this cause aligned perfectly with Adorna Lux's belief that true luxury comes with a responsibility to give back.
A Star-Studded Evening 🌟
The night featured breathtaking performances by Tony and Emmy Award-winning Kristin Chenoweth, electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling, and the legendary Trixie Mattel. Hosted by Mario Lopez for the fifth consecutive year, the stunning ballroom at The Maybourne was electric with energy, laughter, and emotion.
Among the celebrity guests were Paula Abdul, Lance Bass, Jerry O'Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Garcelle Beauvais, and many of the Vanderpump Rules cast including LaLa Kent, Tom Schwartz, and James Kennedy.
